About us

We exist to challenge the belief that life and work are in contention.

We are a boutique consultancy, specialising in bringing the best of individuals and organisations together to create something beautiful. We are passionate, authentic in our approach and obsessed with making a difference to individuals and organisations alike.

We’re not about providing a ‘solution’ or quick answers.  We believe that every person and situation is unique and a one-size-fits-all approach simply isn’t enough to make impact that really matters.  We especially love getting stuck into tricky situations, untangling complex problems and finding a path forward that everyone feels good about.

We don’t shy away from a challenge or expressing to others the need for change, especially when it appears to be staring us in the face.  A perfect solution is not the goal here, but embarking on a collaborative journey towards better outcomes for everyone, is.

About Emily

Emily is deeply inspired to help people and organisations to be ‘better’.

Whether this means identifying and tackling the thorny challenges that might be holding them back, or working out how to fine tune their approach from an already ‘good’ base, she firmly believes that nothing sits idle for long, and there is always room for learning and growth – “the best work you’ll do in life is work on yourself and the environments you occupy”.

As a registered organisational psychologist, Emily has spent over 15 years consulting to a range of small to large enterprises across the public and private sectors in New Zealand and across APAC.

She has extensive experience advising organisations on the design and implementation of strategic programmes of work related to change and continuous improvement, and has worked across all levels of organisations – from assisting CEOs with building cohesive, dynamic and well-functioning executive teams, to conducting qualitative and quantitative research across all layers and verticals of businesses to inform people strategy and culture change.

Emily’s personal ambition is to maximise life and make the very best of every experience, opportunity or situation she encounters, even when there are (sometimes significant) bumps in the road. Her greatest pleasure is seeing her family, friends and clients find their purpose, overcome hurdles and achieve professional and personal success.

When she’s not “working”, Emily can be found spending quality time with her family and friends, hiking up or skiing down mountains, reading, enjoying music, exercising, and exploring the world.

Whether we’re working with a single person or a whole business, our core purpose is to create opportunities for honest and constructive reflection using valid tools, techniques and research methods.

We aim to enhance awareness of a ‘current state’ while identifying hidden problems, un-tapped potential or a proactive need for change.
